An ongoing initiative that aims to facilitate recovery from substance use disorders by providing care for pets and service animals while their owners undergo treatment. This program supports individuals on their sobriety journey by ensuring their pets are looked after, allowing them to focus on healing. Once reunited, participants are empowered to achieve self-sufficiency through various support avenues and a paid apprenticeship with Serenity Paws.

Since 2013, Serenity Paws has been an advocate for sobriety and healing. Our name, Serenity Paws, was given to us by a young lady, (Katheryn D) who knew the recovery path well. Her dedication to helping herself and others battle addiction and navigate healing also aided Angela Katie Bonham. In the beginning stages of opening the business in 2009, the name came from the renowned prayer that is the centerpeice of our journey, The Serenity Prayer.​
